Spice drink for colds

A fast recipe for colds. A warm drink for winter. Brought to you by Ayuwave & Unlock Your Health.

This video is a simple spice drink recipe prepared using easily available spices that have antimicrobial, antibacterial and antiviral properties. Spices such as black pepper, cumin, turmeric, cinnamon, coriander and ginger when boiled in water release their phyto-constituents, which have health benefits. Ginger is known to be helpful in colds. This recipe also suggests the use of almond milk instead of cow’s milk to prepare the drink, as almond milk is low in sugars. It is best to use unsweetened almond milk whenever using it in a drink.

Honey, added as a sweetener to the drink at the final stage, can help in reducing the discomfort during colds and has a soothing effect. The combination of turmeric and honey is beneficial in colds and coughs.

This drink can also be used on a regular basis to stay healthy and well. This drink is particularly beneficial during the cold months of winter. As always, it is important to note that medical help or seeking a doctor is necessary when the symptoms get worse or the drink does not result in improvement of symptoms.
